Singapore Table Tennis Head Coach Liu Guo Dong 刘国栋 Quitting at the End of the Year

Singapore Table Tennis Women's Head Coach Liu Guo Dong 刘国栋 has announced he won't be extending his contract beyond the end of the year with Singapore Table Tennis Association.

Speaking to the local media in China, Guo Dong 刘国栋 revealed he was unhappy with the terms of the new contract and he felt he would face more difficulties leading the table-tennis team under the new guidelines set by the STTA management team.

LianHe WanBao 《晚报》 tried to contact STTA President Lee Bee Wah but she has declined comment.

It is rumoured that Liu Guodong has received numerous lucrative offers since leading Singapore's Women Table Tennis team to a team Silver medal at the Olympic Games two months ago.
